Refuse To Fall - Soulfire

Refuse To Fall's "Soulfire" 7" was the second release on Equal Vision Records. These guys were way into krishna. Honestly, I don't know a whole lot here. I was never a big fan of krishna, or this record really. I'd say side B is definitely better than side A though. Take a listen and judge for yourself.

  1. thanks for this one, not my usual cup of tea but I saw them once when they played in Dallas with Intent and some band from Tyler, in east Texas. So for no other reason that posterity I appreciate. All I can help you with is that they from Houston and I do not ever remember them playing Dallas but the one time. It's not really a straight-edge friendly town. Anyway thanks for this one and I have enjoyed some of you other posts as well.

  6. Why bothering posting something about a band that you:
    A. Don't really like
    B. Don't know anything about

Doesnt make much sense... You should really try to step up your content.

It was requested, and I own it, so I posted it. If you're unhappy with the content, feel free to stop reading the blog.

  9. I am trying to find old show flyers from our band, we did a lot of one off shows back in the day, and a tour with Shelter. We played Dallas twice, once at this punk-rock collective type venue and then another time at this place that seemed like a bit of a drive, away from town. Both times we played, the shows were not heavily attended. Good to see some people have some thoughts of the old band. Take care! - Damon (Refuse To Fall)

ps. If anyone wants to talk about stuff back in the day, or just say hello, here is my email allendma713@gmail.com

  10. Saw these guys with Shelter in 91. in DC. Was never a huge fan but I could always dig the ep for it's flow. Not the greatest but strong enough to throw on a mix, if only to keep it diverse. Great blog.
