Unrestrained have debuted a video for 'Ethel Mertz', the opening track on their forthcoming Forward Onto Death LP that will be out on Trip Machine Laboratories in May.

Unrestrained To Release 12 Inch On Trip Machine Laboratories

So after a little bit of a shuffle, it looks like the Unrestrained 12 inch will be released by our good friend Chris, the mastermind behind Atlas Shrugged and Trip Machine Laboratories. The record is going to be called "Forward Onto Death" and will feature a cover that I am beyond excited about.

Trip Machine has previously worked with the band on their split 7 inch with Incendiary and the band is excited to continue that relationship. The recording of the record is done and mastered. Artwork is in the process of being worked out and we should see pre-orders surface soon. As soon as we know more, we will have it up for you guys. Trust me, this one is gonna be a good one.

Living Laser - Ragged Glory review

Living Laser hail from the Hudson Valley area of New York, and are bringing forth a sound reminiscent of early hardcore bands like Bad Brains, Dead Kennedys and Black Flag.  The "Ragged Glory" cassette released by Trip Machine Laboratories has seven songs of short, fast and sometimes manic hardcore.  Astral Plane opens the tape up with succinct blast of power chords and the familiar 80s hardcore drum beat heard throughout the Minor Threat discography.  Although the pace of the music is kept fast throughout a lot of the songs, Living Laser also have a great knack for slowing things down in a way that reminds me of  the great Bl'ast!, with thick power chords acting as a fulcrum point between the songs more crazed segments.  If you're like me, and you think Bad Brains would have been a good band if they hadn't wasted so much time on their reggae parts, you'll probably love this tape.
