Back in 2009, I posted an unreleased recording session from Eighteen Visions that came from a cassette tape that Jav sent to me.  The heaviness of the tracks was a great precursor to what they were writing for Yesterday Is Time Killed, but the cassette had its limitations as far as sound quality goes.  Now, almost five years later, a box sent to me by Dan Gump of Life Sentence Records contained the master DAT tape for this recording session, so everyone can hear these songs the way they were truly meant to be heard.

If you want to get the full story about the recording, check out the original post here.

Another gem from the DAT archive of Ron Brotherhood, here's Undertow's 1990 demo.  Joel was still on vocals, and they had really stepped up their game from the Refuse demo a year prior.

Remastered from the master DAT tape, and sounding much better than the Lost & Found bootleg.

I came across an old photo album that randomly had some (very few of the many) ticket stubs from some pretty awesome shows in the late 90's. Just thought I'd share.

This was the first time that Cursed played in Portland.  The Dead Unknown went and did all of the Northwest dates with them and Breather Resist.  It was a great few days in all possible regards.
The audio gets a little janky at times, but if you ever saw Cursed play life, you should know that's just because they played so damn loud that they were undoubtedly overloading the camera's mic.

I'm doing the February Record A Day on instagram and today is any 7" so I choose the Blackspot / Triceratops "Banana Split" because it's the only record I have with a sleeve that was made especially for me. I don't know how many people in our circle of friends received their version 1 out of 1 back in '96 but I still have mine. Here's the link to hear it: Click here

I had a VHS tape sent to me by Ryan of Blasphemour Records last week.  Filmed by Ryan Adams of Crossthread, it contained full sets from Disembodied and Overcast at Metcafe in Providence, RI on 10/10/98.

And as a nice bonus, there was also a set of Meshuggah from 7/30/98 at Club Infinity in Springfield, MA.
