Sworn Vengeance recently announced that their newest recording will be released on vinyl via Escapist Records, and CD via Goodlife Recordings with both of them containing a few extra tracks.

Here are the details:
"We will be going back into Castle Ultimate in Oakland around the beginning of October to work with the amazing Zack Ohren to record 4 tracks, 2 of which will be brand new songs for the full length. We will also record one of our older songs, "Abbadon." Combine that with the 7 songs we released earlier this month and you will have a 10 track full length set to release around December."

Of course, you can still go to their Bandcamp page to check out the recording in its current EP form.

Knuckledust has been one of the biggest hardcore in the UK for quite some time now. Based in London, the band started out in 1993 as Mental Torment, and after a few line-up changes and a name change to Uphold, a final line-up and name change took place in 1996, and Knuckledust was born, and has been going strong ever since. This live 7" was recorded at the first ever EvilFest in 1998, in London's Astoria club, and features the first ever song written by Knuckledust, 'Persevere' as well as a Bulldoze cover, 'The Truth'. Besides Knuckledust, singer Pierre 'Pelbu' helps run Rucktion Records, and members also play(ed) in bands such as Bun Dem Out, Ninebar and Maldito.

The 7" was released on Household Name Records, which would also release a compilation CD with recordings of bands playing at EvilFest '98, but the Knuckledust songs are not the same ones as on this 7".

Two brothers are trying to finish their documentary on the Long Island Hardcore scene. You can help them out by making donations starting at $5. Take a look at their video and decide if you want to be a part of their project: Something In The Water

I have quite a few ticket stubs saved from back in the day but I wish I had kept all of them, they are such great reminders of amazing times. Here are a few of my favorites, were you at any of these shows?

In 2009, Disembodied returned to the hardcore scene. It was exciting to both old fans and new. They played a few shows on both sides of the country, and many of those were captured on video and audio. They even teased the world with a new song and a promise of a new record to be recorded on custom 8 string baritone guitars made from broken pieces of burned churches.

The reunion lasted 27 months, and the band was once again buried.

This is a recording of the first show back from the dead. The recording is not broken up into separate tracks, and is raw audio straight from the board. No mixing or mastering, just pure brutality. It is also worth noting that they played songs at this show that may not have been played at subsequent ones, making it special.
