Their last release and also one of the last releases on Initial Records before they folded. You can really hear the Buried Alive influence creeping in

One of Scott Vogel's best. Their first release on Initial Records.
I found the scans on discogs.com and I'm pretty sure the original uploaded was xactionjacksonx.

This Im pretty sure is the first 18V full length. Released after Lifeless, this record is where they really started to get some recognition...I love that in the insert, the band is wearing basketball jerseys and huge pants..oh how times change. Also Im pretty sure this was released by Prime Directive but my girlfriends copy is in storage so I cant go check.

EDIT: The record came out on Cedargate Records. Thanks Mike

So according to the folder, this demo is from 1992. I dont know if I believe that, I think its earlier than that but hey I dont know for sure. Either way, some of the songs on here were re-recorded for the self-titled 7 inch on Indecision Records but this is a different recording. Check it out. Good stuff from one of the greats

Strife - Demo 1992

Strife is and always will be one of my favorite bands. Regardless of whether they are not all straight edge anymore, the record still move me and make me proud to still call myself straight edge after all these years. This was released on New Age Records when Mike Hartsfield was playing guitar for them. To the best of my knowledge, this was originally a vinyl only release and New Age later pressed it on CD in a cardboard sleeve. This is ripped from that original CD and the cover scanned from it as well. 2 of these songs were re-recorded for the One Truth record but Begin to Care was never re-released. Great release from a great band...also if you check out xJustinx's blog you can download their first 7 inch on Indecision Records. Check it out here

Burn It Down formed sometime in the mid 1990s, and came to an end in 2001. They were fronted by Ryan Downey who previously sang for Hardball and Warpath. He also spent some time editing and publishing Vanguard, the Hardline zine, after founder Sean Muttaqi decided to take some time away from it. I never got to see Burn It Down, because they broke up just before they were supposed to play Portland with Shadows Fall and In Flames, but I always heard that they put on a great live show. A majority of Burn It Down's discography is still in print (the Eat Sleep Mate Defend 10" is incredible!), but here is the out of print, self titled 7" that came out on Uprising Records in 1997.
