Lincoln popped up out of West Virginia, and definitely had the mid 90s post-hardcore/emo sound nailed down.  After releasing 7"s through Watermark and Art Monk Construction, along with a split 7" with Hoover, they faded away.  Before their demise, an LP was recorded in what was probably 1995.  I'm unsure of who was supposed to release it, but it obviously never saw the light of day.

Lincoln - Unreleased LP

This isn't an unreleased LP, it's a live set from a radio show called "Morgantown Sound" circa 1994. It's still pretty good quality though and has a bunch of unrecorded jams. Best band.
