Cool video but does not give justice to how insane it was up front. Crazy.

Trial rules! That band should never have left us. They could have played the same songs over and over and I would have still gone to see them.

Kickboxing looks lamer and lamer every time I see it done during the set of a non-death/moshcore band like Trial.

Get off my lawn you brats.

The kickboxing did bother me, of course I jammed against the front of the stage almost 99% of their set.

What pissed me off was this. A stage diving class seems required. Stage dive on your back. It is crucial for two reasons. 1) it is lame to knee people in the forehead every time you dive. 2)You can't sing along with your asshole.

Stage dive on your back people. I'll be more inclined to catch you.

That said the trial set was amazing. And Brian from P. Skies didn't end up at the hospital - an all around victory for hardcore here in the beautiful northwest.

These stupid new sub-genres within the hardcore scene are getting lamer and lamer everytime I hear them being used. So are the bro-moshers that used to "kickbox" 5 years ago that talk shit about it now.

Get to the shows of bands you like and support them however you want to.

I have a bunch of awesome videos and I don't know how to transfer them either. I have Earth Mover's final show as well as one of AFI's last shows at the Gilman and a bunch of The Hoods.

The bro-moshing, I agree. It looks silly looking back now, but it was f-in fun back then. I know if there was a band I super get into, I will be known, still, to "kick box," but I feel more inclined to just sing along and "BONK THE GOFER!"

David, I was thinking the exact same thing during and after Trial's set. So many people stage dive and flail their legs like people having seizures as they do so. Note that I landed on my back every time, which means that people were able to support me, and it rules to sing along as people hold you up. It's no wonder that so many people just hit the floor hard. Who wants to catch someone when you can already see their feet and knees flying at your head?

Here is the best part. I have no problem with "kick boxing" I had meant to write that didn't bother me, it was typo. Infact I suppose you could say i was "kickboxing" during Wait in vein, and you bet your ass I will for Earth crisis next month.

It was the dumb ass stage diving that bugged me. Not stave diving...dumbass face first sing alongs.

Lets face it, we sound old.

In terms of the hardcore scene, we are old! haha

Not only am I going to stay young 'til I die, I'm also going to complain about douchebag antics at hardcore shows 'til I die.

Support your favorite bands by kicking people in the head for no reason! Grrrrr! I'm tough!!!!

My only complaint is the video ... I'm glad I get to watch second-rate invisible ninja fighting as opposed to the band. Oh well, makes me that much more excited for the Burning Fight show.

@AJ: Sorry for the shitty quality of the video. I shot it from my little point and shoot camera that's meant for still pictures. Also, it doesn't zoom which is fine normally, but video from 50 feet back in the balcony... not so much. I did see at least 2 people with nice video cameras shooting too, so maybe that will surface sometime.

@marktheshark: If you would like, I could take your videos and take care of ripping/uploading them for you. I would post them at vimeo and theveganstraightedge.com like I did this one. I'd give you credit for shooting them, of course. If not, that's cool too.
