I wasnt sure if anyone actually read this thing so Im very pleased with the comments that everyone has been leaving. So now that the Earth Crisis tour is official I figured Id post a few new things Id gotten in the past few days. The first is a design I already had but with a different back print. I was told that this design didnt go over so well and it was discontinued shortly after (not sure how acurate that is...Guav, little help?). The second was for the release of the live "The Oath That Keep Me Free" CD on Victory. This is also one that I already had but the print was so beat to hell that I needed an upgrade. Lastly, is a sticker sheet of very early sticker designs. Patrick "Reaper Records" Kitzel sent this to me because he's just an amazing guy and knows how much I love this band so gracias mi amigo. Im still waiting on a "315" pullover for over a month from someone on Ebay as well as another Conviction Records design courtesy of Mr. Mat Wadsworth of New Zealand and the Inherit The Wasteland tshirt from Sebastian in Germany. Pics when they arrive.

Well, the first shirt was printed by Blue Grape Merchandising, which the band had signed to after signing with Roadrunner Records. Blue Grape was owned by the same people who owned Roadrunner.

At the time, Mike Ski (Brother's Keeper, The A.K.A.s) was the art director at BG, and I believe he drew the shirt. The front was the "updated" Earth Crisis logo I had done.

I don't know if it sold poorly by hardcore standards, but since it was being sold by a merch company for retail purposes, it's possible that the design didn't have a very long lifetime if it didn't sell at certain levels.

(Incidentally, Mike Ski quit BG to pursue his band full time, and I took over the position of art director at Blue Grape in 2000 until the company was sold and merged with another merchandising company called Bravado in 2004 where I work now. BG no longer did EC's merch by the time I took over, but I have the artwork archives around here somewhere ... I'll see if there are any other designs we did that you don't have).

Amazing design, maybe that why its tattooed on my arm, haha. It's cool to see all these EC shirts, i got only one victory era t-shirt and hoodie (sky blue?) with old english logo and too many after reunion shirts. Still the most amazing hardcore band ever existed, period.
Thanks for linkin us up man.

You're a mad man. I'm siked that the Portland ExC show is the day after I get back from my honeymoon. You should fly to Portland and we can have an "old dudes wrecking n00bs" good time. Mosh moratorium is being lifted, which I haven't lifted since the Turmoil and Trial reunions.
